Principal's Message

Welcome to the website of Little Flower Hr. Sec. School, Kohima. I feel honoured and privileged to be part of an educational institution where every stakeholder is a learner and every day is an opportunity to learn and discover. We look at ourselves as a community of learners, where everyone learns including our teachers, parents and students.

LFS is a centre of excellence, empowering young people to become women of academic competence, spiritual maturity, social consciousness and commitment who in turn become builders of a transformed society.

We truly have an inspiring school with a supportive and involved parent’s community, dedicated and highly skilful staff, excellent resources and the most promising students to work with.

Ample opportunities are available for students to develop their innate talents in learning based activities – Sports, Theatre, Debates, Creative writing, Quiz, Talents show, Orientation/Exposure programmes , Life Scoping Skills are provided under the guidance of qualified staff. We envisage our students to become intellectually enlightened, morally upright, spiritually oriented, emotionally balanced, socially committed, patriotic, eco-friendly and accomplished, in a word, integrally developed young people who will be agents of social transformation in the multi-cultural, multi-religious context of our nation.
