Little Flower Higher Secondary School Kohima, an institution recognised by NBSE, was established in 1964. It is owned by the Salesian Sister's of North East India, a body registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860. The Salesian Sisters numbering over 13,000 work in 94 countries through 1 800 educational centres The School is run according to the principles and methods of the modern educator, St. John Bosco. Under the able guidance of the Sisters and the constant efforts of the well-trained staff, quality education is imparted to the students. The first batch of LFS Matriculates appeared in 1971. Since then, to this day, it has a glorious and unique record of its performance. In 2005, the School received the Computer Excellency Award from the President of India.
