Absence & Leave
- No student should absent herself without obtaining leave previously, unless it is due to sudden illness or unforeseen circumstances.
- Students must return after the holidays on the appointed date. In case of illness the school authority must be notified and a doctor’s certificate must be produced. Late comers are liable to lose their seats or pay a fine of Rs.100/- per day.
- The names of those who are absent without informing the authority for one week will be struck off from the register.
- Leave must be obtained by written application from parents or guardians in the prescribed “Leave Records.” Late comers must produce a similar justification.
- To be Admitted to the class room, absentees and late comers must show their teachers their Regularity Record duly countersigned by the Sisters in-charge.
- No Student is allowed to leave the school premises during school hours without a letter of authorization from her parents/guardians.
- Students who have been absent from class must have the reason for their absence briefly noted in their Regularity Record. Reason of a private nature may be intimated by a letter. Birthdays, excursions, urgent business are not sufficient reasons. Absence from the school to study for the examination is never allowed.
